OVERVIEW:
Kumbh is the largest religious human congregation on Earth on the banks of the Holy River Ganga. Pilgrims from all over the country converge to take the holy dip. The boatman community known as the Nishads has been playing a very important role in ferrying these devotees.
We made this boat ride, a way to clean the river itself.
Hindustan Unilever designed and attached unique nets on both sides of the boats. Thus, empowering the Nishads to not just ferry pilgrims but also clean the Holy River.
